Born in Minnesota, October 19, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Ward Harden Rouse and Carol Koval Rouse. She was raised in Washington state and moved to Virginia when she got married at an early age. She was loved by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Rouse.
Survivors include her daughter, Annette Coleman and her husband Eddie of Rustburg; two sons, C.P. Elliott and his wife Heaven and Steven Elliott all of Rustburg; one brother, Jim Rouse and his daughter Jami of Tacoma, WA and five grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Sydney Elliott, Cameron Elliott and Kaitlin Elliott.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
