Kathleen was a daughter of the late Leslie Owen Foster and Mary Fannie Page Torrence. She was a retired hairdresser and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
Kathleen was known for her warm smile, wonderful sense of humor, determination, and heartfelt gratitude for those around her. A talented cook and gifted crafter, Kathleen was especially known for her homemade rolls and enjoyed cross-stitch, crocheting, quilting, and learning anything she could get her hands on. She always had a word search nearby and loved telling stories and making others laugh, often laughing herself before she could even tell the story.
Above all, Kathleen was a selfless woman who gave freely and expected nothing in return. She remained humble and appreciative of even the smallest kindness, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Bradley Foster, and her two brothers, William “Tootsie” Grubbs and Edward Eugene “Gene” Grubbs.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lisa May (Jimmy); her grandson, Dylan May (Elma); her two sisters, Rita Fitzgerald and Debbie Fisher; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and her caregiver, Annie Woodruff.
