Kathy Sue Huffman

Kathy was born in Lynchburg, November 11, 1967. She was a support specialist with Genworth Financial. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening; she also enjoyed crafting and antiques. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Phillips.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kailey Elizabeth Huffman; her mother, Sandra Harris Holaday of Lynchburg, two sisters, Sherry Tidwell and her husband Ray of Concord and Michelle Yeaples and her husband Gordon of Lynchburg; one brother, Roger Christopher Phillips of Evington; nieces and nephews, Anthony Tidwell, John Tidwell, Meagan Yeaples, Josh Schneider, Jade Phillips, Lyza Phillips and Nora Phillips; her mother-in-law, Nancy Huffman of Lynchburg; her father-in-law, William Huffman and his wife Shirley of Madison Heights; brother-in law, Richard Shoemaker and three sisters-in-law, Shirley Morris, Theresa Faulks and Tammy Hamlett and a number of other extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Bill Evans officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
