

Born in Lynchburg, July 20, 1944, he was the son of the late William Thomas Fulcher and Virginia Sessler Fulcher. Kenneth served his country in the US Army National Guard and was retired from Hanson Building Materials. He was a member of Calvary Cross Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Debra F. Burnley and husband Michael of Lynchburg, Kenneth T. Fulcher, Jr. and wife Alicia of Evington, Brad Fulcher and wife Susan of Lynchburg, Steven Fulcher and wife Sheri of Evington and Heather F. Campbell and husband Bryant of Evington; one brother, George Fulcher and wife Cindy of Florida; eight sisters, Virginia F. Rowland of Halifax, Delores F. Flowers of Lynchburg, Rosie F. Rush of Florida, Barbara F. Williams and husband Freddie of Concord, Shirley F. Tyree of Rustburg, Sue Fulcher and special friend Lewis Mann of Appomattox, Mildred F. “Cotton” Crist and husband Bryant of Concord and Sheila F. Roach and husband Todd of Concord; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a child he and Connie raised, Angela Poore Fleck and two sisters, Brenda F. Thompson and Barbara F. Lambert.
A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Calvary Cross Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Hudson and the Rev. Carlton Duck officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park with military honors by the American Legion Post 16.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Calvary Cross Baptist Church, 1700 James St., Lynchburg, VA and at other times at the residence.
