

Born May 14, 1933, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Charles Coleman Hunt and Bertha Lillian Overstreet Hunt. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tina Marie Floyd, and numerous siblings.
Kenneth served our country in the United States Army. He was a retired machinist from Limitorque Corporation. He enjoyed racing, collecting antique license plates, fishing, and working around the house. He was a hard worker at everything he did.
He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Royal of Forest; four grandchildren, Shauna Scott and wife, Etta, Jeffrey Scott and wife, Becca, Alisa Gilbert and husband, Cory, and Kenneth Scott; one great granddaughter, Jayla Kay-Ann Gilbert; and sister, Marian Worley.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Spring Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Fitzgerald officiating. Military honors will be presented by the American Legion Post 16.
