Kenneth Wayne Wade, 62, of Lynchburg, passed away, Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at his residence. Born July 30, 1950, in Bedford County, he was the son of the late Thurman Carlile Wade and the late Marian Elizabeth Tyree Wade.
Kenneth was a retired ground and maintenance technician at Lynchburg College. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one bother, Melvin R. Wade and one sister, Doris W. Couch.
Kenneth is survived by eight siblings, Bobby C. Wade (Judy), Earl F. Wade (Irene), Frank David Wade (Judy), Ronnie L. Wade (Fonda), William E. Wade (Candy), James L. Wade (Martha), Barbara W. Harmon (Chuck) and Judy W. Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Tabitha Wade, Daezhia Pannell and Sanchez Pannell.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 16, 2013, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends at the residence of David and Judy Wade.
