Leroy Preston Jordan

Leroy Preston Jordan, 67 of Spout Spring, husband of Wanda Franklin Jordan, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017. He was born in Lynchburg on November 17, 1949, son of the late Warren Giles Jordan and the late Mable Kersey Jordan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, R. W. Jordan; a daughter, Sheena Norfield and her husband Mike; five grandchildren, Jacob, Carter, and Kassidy Jordan, Chris and Dylan Norfield; a sister, Peggy Jordan Mays as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Thomas Terrace Baptist Church with Pastors Mark Grooms and Dan Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Appomattox. The family would appreciate donations to help defray costs. Arrangements under the direction of Whitten Timberlake Chapel, Lynchburg, VA.
