Lewis Wayne Martin

Born on July 17, 1958 in Lynchburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Gordon Lewis Martin and Mamie Victoria Caudill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kirk Caudill.

Lewis was a hardworking man who enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved playing poker, taking long rides, and, most of all, spending time with his family. His grandchildren brought him great joy, and he treasured every opportunity to be with them.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Bomar Martin; his sons, Marshall Wayne Martin and his children, LeeAnn and Victoria Martin, and Eric Shane Martin and his child, Hunter Martin; his stepsons, Troy Bomar (Amber) and their children, Cheyenne, Zoey, Zach, Makayla, and Madison Bomar, and Tyke Bomar and his children, Tayvin and Elijah Bomar; his bonus son, TC Weekley (Christina) and their child, Kayley Weekley; his siblings, Rodney Martin (Nada) and Karen Owens; his uncle, David Martin; his three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Annlee, and Avery; and four nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Lyn-Dan Heights Ruritan Club, 2360 English Tavern Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
