Lillian Austin Smith

Lillian was born on February 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Rachel and Nathan Austin. She worked as an operator for the Lynchburg Answering Service and was a member of Marsh Memorial United Methodist Church. Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Lynch, and her brother, Paul Austin.

Lillian is survived by her two sons: Kenneth Smith, and his wife Debbie, Reggie Smith, and his wife Carla, all of Lynchburg; her two sisters: Lee Wood and Rose Hahn; her brother, Otis Kit Austin; and her two grandchildren: Jennifer and Darren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
