Linda Harris Beasley

Linda was born January 3, 1943, in Washington, NC, to the late Derwood Harris, and Carma Midgette Harris. She was married and preceded in death to Ray N. Beasley Jr. for 52 years.

Linda retired from Amherst County where she was a cook for Monelison Middle School.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters Bambi Beasley Elliott (Rusty) of Evington, VA, Tracie Beasley of Arizona, a sister Harriette Riggs (Bill) of NC, four grandchildren & their spouses Christopher Elliott, Ryan Elliott (Jessi), Matthew Elliott (Beckah), Kaitlyn Elliott Brady(Zack), and one very special great grandson who made her last days incredibly joyful; Michael Elliott.

Linda will be dearly missed for her generous and loving heart. Linda unselfishly cared for her husband, Ray, for 10 years after his dementia diagnosis. She never missed an opportunity to care for or help her grandchildren as they grew up, even from her bed this last year.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
