Linda Gail Brizendine

Linda Gail Catlett Brizendine, 74, of Rustburg, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Larry Chester Brizendine. Born December 1, 1947 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Monroe Catlett and Mamie Tyree Catlett Meadows. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Brizendine; a grandson, Brandon Thornton; two sisters, Carolyn Catlett and Shirley Plumb and two brothers, Ed Catlett and David Catlett. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and homemaker. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her daughter, Lisa B. White and husband Lewis of Lynchburg; three sisters, Rosa Martin and husband Jimmy and Betty Witt and husband Jack, and Frances Thompson and nine grandchildren, Robbie, Jonathan, Michael, Joshua, Eric, Justin, Miranda, Savannah, and Brennan. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Cumbie Memorial Cemetery in Rustburg.
