Born June 1, 1946 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Clinton C. McGuire and Alice Mae McGuire.
Linda is survived by her children, Christy Wood (Robert), Brenda Laughlin (Clifton), John Thomas Gunter, Jr. (Heather), Allen Gunter (Kasey); brothers, Don and Johnny McGuire,; sister, Debbie Saunders; and grandchildren, Jada, Ashley, Josh, Brooklyn, and Jared.
A Funeral service will be held, Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Hunting Creek Baptist Church in Big Island at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Mark Snowden. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Whitten Timberlake Chapel Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and other times at Timmy’s residence.
