Loretta was the sweetest person! I worked with her and her side kick Della Rice @ Pearson's Drug Store on Boonesboro Road. I was just out of high school and worked in the office there..Always had a smile for everyone and a very outgoing personality. I am sure she will be missed by many, but just know she is in a better place. God bless you Wendy and Doug. Robin Mitchell Tyree

Aunt Loretta was a beautiful person inside and out. I was sorry to hear of of her cancer and subsequently her passing. I’m certain she was well taken care of by her daughter. I have many memories of being with Loretta during Christmas and othe times at Nannies house.

I remember when Loretta came to Pearson’s Drug Store. As a young person who hung out there, she was such a dramatic change to the environment. Until she arrived we were policed by the old folks in the “white coats” or Mrs Conners at the lunch counter. Loretta was young, kind, friendly and spectacularly beautiful, ...what addition to Pearson’s for the remainder of my years in Lynchburg. Rest In Peace and my sympathies to the family for their loss

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of parent/teacher conferences with Loretta and conversing at the mailbox with her. She was a good person and a great neighbor.
