Louis Hunter Talbott Sr.

Born in Hurt, he was the son of the late Chesley Hunter Talbott and the late Ann Robertson Talbott. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Louis H. Talbott, Jr.; two daughters, Nancy T. Haygood and Charlotte T. Neighbors; two brothers and four sisters.

Louis was retired from Burruss Land and Lumber Co.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Curtis M. Talbott and his wife, Cindy, of Forest, Dana K. Talbott of Lynchburg and Charles Edwards and his wife, Michelle, of Huddleston; two daughters, Frances T. Dalton and her husband, Robert and Geraldine T. Burns and her husband, Len, all of Lynchburg; one sister, Gracie T. Ashwell of Altavista; a special granddaughter, Brittany Richards of Lynchburg; thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Paul Horton and Pastor Joseph Hill, officiating. Please join the family for a reception at The Church of God, 777 Leesville Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502 after the graveside service.
