

Born December 1, 1927 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Argile Case, Sr. and Mary Purvis Case and was also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Arthur retired from General Electric after thirty-five years of service and was a former employee of Blue Buckle Company. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Rustburg.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Arthur is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Dunnaway and husband Jesse of Madison Heights and Sally L. Aughey and husband Samuel of Evington; one brother, Malcolm A. Case, Jr. and wife Kitty of Richmond; two sisters, Betty C. Maddox of Forest and Dimple C. Almond of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Kimberly D. Rush (Lacy), Samantha K. Jennings (Jeff), Curtis C. Keesee, III, and William S. Ashby and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Richard Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Virginia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
