Margaret Wood Duff

Born in Lynchburg, March 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Addison Wood and Flora Henderson Wood. She was a former employee of Wilco Uniform Co. and the Lynchburg Cotton Mill. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ray Wood, Tom Wood, Leroy Wood and Billy Wood; two sisters, Geraldine Wood and Dorothy W. Hartless and her dog Rocky.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol D. Luther and her husband LeRoy of Lynchburg; one son, Sammy Duff and his wife Bonnie of Evington; one sister, Betty W. Wood of Madison Heights; four grandchildren Paul Drinkard and wife Bonnie, Tina Jefferson and husband Franklin, Chad Duff and wife Sandy and Steve Luther and wife Sarah and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Fairview Christian Church with the Rev. Curtis Wheeler and the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
