Born in Madison Heights, on September 25, 1916, Margaret lived a life representative of her servant’s heart. Everything she did was to serve her family, friends and her Lord which she loved. One of her favorite pastimes was to play a game of cards. She retired as a secretary for the Hydrate Battery Company. Margaret loved to drive her car around to visit those who could not travel, and to give rides to church until she was 100 years old.
In addition to her parents Margaret was preceded in death by her husband George Thomas Lacy Jr.; three brothers; her daughter Tamara L. Miller; and one grandson.
Left to cherish Margaret’s memory is her brother Kenneth K. Kessler and his wife Lois; her children George Thomas Lacy III, Brenda L. Fisher and her husband Tom, Margaret L. Wells; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
