Margaret Cox Little

Born February 10, 1948 in Campbell County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Edward and Margaret Little Cox. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Hank Edward Little and Iran V. Little and a brother, Travis E. Cox, Sr. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Evington.

Margaret is survived by three sons, Reid I. Little, Jr. of Lynchburg, John S. Little of Evington, and James M. Little of Lynchburg; a daughter, Margaret O. Preas of Hurt; a brother, Robert Cox and wife Deborah of Evington; a sister, Carolyn A. McKinney and husband Bennie of Evington; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Evington with Pastor David Place officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and other times at the home of Robert and Deborah Cox, 40 Applegate Lane, Evington.
