

Margaret Reynolds Moore, 89, of Lynchburg passed away peacefully at her home Monday, January 2, 2012 with her loving family at her side. She was the loving wife of the late John Thomas Moore for 63 years.
Born May 5, 1922 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late James Leonard Reynolds and Nona Burnette Reynolds. Mrs. Moore was a member of The Rebekahs and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Margaret is survived by one son, James O. Howell and wife, Estelle of Athens, Ga; sisters, Dorothy R. Carwile and Frances R. Keeler and husband Dick of Lynchburg; three grandchildren, Meg Swan and husband, Matt of Casper Wyoming, Jamey McSwain and husband, Jason, Dana Moore and husband, Todd all of Griffin, Ga; 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by four brothers, Willie, Junior, Loxley, Raymond and one sister, Shirley.
Margaret truly loved her family and was always there for them.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in Whitten Timberlake Chapel by the Dr. Monty Fox. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Frances Keeler.
