She graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She worked as a radio announcer and was employed by General Electric during WWII. Marilyn was a mother, a homemaker and loved the Federated Church, becoming a Stephen minister in her later years. The family will always remember her warm smile, kind heart, giving to others, and ever encouraging spirit.
Marilyn is survived by her two sons, William Albers and wife Christine, of Memphis and Lynchburg, Gregg Albers and wife Andrea, of Lynchburg, six grandchildren Matthew Albers, Meredith Moore, Bethany Albers, Rachel Ruiz, Wesley Albers, and Andrew Albers and four great-grandchildren, Jackson and Bailey Moore, David and Isabelle Ruiz.
The family is planning a memorial service for Marilyn in Chagrin Falls, Ohio in May at the Federated Church Family Life Center, in the Norling Prayer and Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions should be sent to the Alzheimers Association local chapters or to www.alz.org.

I didn't know the Mother but did know her two sons and have many fond memories of two very fine doctors and their dedication to humanity. Thinking of you at this time.

Dear Gregg, Bill and Family of Marilyn.
I first met Marilyn back in the early 1990's before I joined the staff of Federated Church. I will always remember her warm hospitality and caring spirit. She had a deep love for God and the Church and an equally deep commitment to see God's realm become a reality in our world.
May God comfort you in your time of grief.
Dan DeWeese, Associate Minister
The Federated Church
Chagrin Falls, OH
