Mark Dennis Carwile

Born in Lynchburg, he is the son of Aubrey William Carwile and Norma Riley Carwile of Rustburg. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aubrey W. “Bill” Carwile, Jr.

Mark was a retired mechanic from C&S Repairs and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Bryan Carwile and wife, Connie, of Rustburg; a sister-in-law, Jonell Carwile Worsham and husband, Mike, of Rustburg; nephews and nieces, Scott Carwile and wife, Leah, of Rustburg, Matthew Carwile of Lynchburg, Tara C. Neville and husband, Jessie of Hurt, Amy C. Hanson and husband, Craig, of Long Island and Robert Carwile of Rustburg; a special cousin, “Aunt” Lelia Myrick and husband, Ed, of Daleville and five great nephews and nieces.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m., today, September 18, 2010 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Miller.

The family requests that memorials be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 5662 Red House Rd., Rustburg, VA 24588.
