Marlene Morrison Morrison Williamson

Born November 9, 1945 in Flushing, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank R. and Ann Catherine Molitoris Morrison. Marlene was a retired Reading Specialist with Appomattox County Public Schools and was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Tom Williamson and wife Sabrina of Forest; her daughter, Ann Farris and husband Tom of Anchorage, AK; her sister, Carol Williamson and husband Ronnie of Lynchburg; nephew, Rodger Williamson and wife Qiang and their sons, Owen and Kevin of Japan and her niece, Carrie Williamson of Richmond.

The family wishes to thank the loving care offered by her caregivers of Cadence Companions (Cathy, Sam, Allison, Dedra, Juanita, Barbara, and Anna), also, Victoria, Tabitha, Doris, and Kate and the staff of Centra Hospice, including, Kathryn, Tina, and Rodger.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Carlton Duck officiating.
