Mary Jane Barrick Eller, 96, of Rustburg and formerly of South Carolina, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Roy Whitlock Eller. Born April 5, 1918, in Ogden, IL, she was the daughter of the late Franklin August Barrick and the late Ada Hiller Barrick.
Mary Jane was a retired, self-employed hairdresser. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister and aunt.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Mary is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Barbara Stump of Rustburg; her dear friend, Lynn Davis of South Carolina; and her special pet, Angel.
A memorial service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the Hillcrest Apartments on Birchwood Avenue in Lynchburg, Virginia conducted by Candlelight Ministries.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
