Mary Erbacher Kidd

Mary Erbacher Kidd, age 71 of Lynchburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 23., 2021. She was born on August 8, 1949 in Lynchburg, daughter of the late Francis and Ellen Erbacher. She was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Almond and a brother, Charles Erbacher. Mary was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church and a graduate of Lynchburg College. She loved studying American History, raising flowers and plants, walking, and going to yard sales. She was a collector of all things big and small but her favorite pastime was spending time with her 2 granddaughters. Survivors include a son, Darrell Kidd; a daughter, Jennifer Kidd Ober; 2 granddaughters, Alexis Hughes and Addison Miller; a sister, Alice Barr; and a brother, George Erbacher. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Beth Lindsay, Susan Williams, David Almond, Kevin Barr, Brenda Barr, Brian Barr, and Kristy Logan as well as her cat Dixie. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
