

Maude Virginia Eblen, 75, of Danville and formerly of Lynchburg passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 in the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC surrounded by family and friends. She was the wife of the late John Paul Eblen.
Born in Christiansburg, VA, July 16, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Reuben Brumfield and Louvenie Craghead Brumfield. Although she did work throughout the years, she was dedicated to raising her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Allen Evans and his wife Penny of Winston Salem, NC and Leonard Arenson Evans and his wife Rhonda of Ringgold, VA; two step-sons, John Eblen and Steve Eblen; one sister, Mini Hall of Salem, VA and four grandchildren, Michelle McDaniels and her husband Mark, Bethany Rossi and her husband Dante, Tiarrah Crouch and Landon Evans.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday March 3, 2014 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
