

Born in Giles County in Pembroke, Va. He was the son of the late Arnold Martin Bradley and Elizabeth Lucille Hilton Bradley. In addition to his father and mother, Monty was preceded in death by his brother, Allen G. Bradley and two grandchildren, Blane Ferguson and Anthony Jordan.
Monty was a graduate of Rustburg High School, class of 1961, a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, and was a Machinist for B&W, were he worked 35 years until receiving a heart transplant at UVA, he was a 21 year survivor.
In addition to his wife, Monty is survived by two daughters, Tamara Bradley of Rustburg, Tiffany Ferguson and husband Chris of Evington; one son Christopher Bradley and wife Carrie of Forest; five grandchildren, Mitchell Christensen of Orlando, Fl., Alyssa Ferguson of Evington, Callie, Cayden, and Carter Bradley of Forest; four brothers, Kermit Bradley and wife Shirley, of Rustburg, Darrel Bradley and wife, Karen of Lynchburg, Stephen Bradley and wife Tammy of Madison Heights, Danny Bradley of Appomattox; and one sister, Neta Eagle of Rustburg.
A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
