Nancy Forgie Rowles, 96, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, August 18, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Mortimore Rowles and daughter of the late William Raymond Forgie and Bonnie Craft Forgie.

Born on July 4, 1927 Nancy, a dedicated grandmother, poured her affection onto her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alongside her family role, she found immense joy in her job at Lynchburg General Hospital, where she served as a technician specializing in assisting with EEG readings.

In addition to her late husband and parents Nancy was preceded in death by six of her siblings and one son, Randall Rowes.

Those left to cherish Nancy’s memory include her two surviving siblings; her children Nancy Henry, Debra R. Zimpritsch and her husband Joseph; her 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will take place on Wednesday August 23, 2023 at 2:00pm at Union Hill Baptist Church. A visitation for Nancy will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
