This is super hard to hear. We were close while he was going to school in Cannon Beach/ Seaside, (the "Nathan H's") and I've tried to find him ever since he moved back to Maine.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  Wish I had known sooner.

I loved Nate so very much I only wished I had been a better Uncle and made more time to see him my loss but I'll see my Nate in Heaven one day.

It's with a sad heart to say goodbye to one of my dear childhood friends. Though Nate and I didn't stay in touch with each other after I graduated, I remember the friendship we had in school and the fun times playing on the school basketball team. He always had a smile on his face, and could make you smile as well, no matter what kind of day you were having. Nate, thank you for being the person you were, and for the fond memories. You will be missed by many, but I know we'll see you again, my friend :)

My heart goes out to you Norma on the loss of your son.  I remember him as a young boy and it looks like he grew up to be a handsome man. May God give you comfort.

I was so saddened to hear of Nate's passing. We got to be good friends for a couple of summers in High School but lost touch until just a few years ago. It was great to reconnect and get the download on what he was up to. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and close friends. Praying we see each other again my friend.

Nathan is one of my few cousins, and though he lived in VA for the greater part of my life, he still played a role in my childhood growing up in Maine. He was a guy that kept smiling and his laugh was contagious and unique, something that imprints on a young person's mind to help remember him. More recently, I developed an understanding and respect for his persistent determination of hard work and entrepreneurialism. He was always interested in our (Clint and myself) latest endeavors, including our love for music. One Christmas he sent us the Killers and Billy Talent CDs. We'd never heard of them. Somehow Nathan was ahead of the popular radio and the Killers album became very popular soon after. He was intuitive; a thinker. I will miss him, his insight and stories of his own endeavors, and his laugh. Love you, Nate.

Even though there were a lot of miles between us, we thought about you a lot. You grew up around Beckie & Scott and we have many fond  memories of that time. You will truly be missed. love to the families at such a terrible time. we were just in Maine in September and everyone was excited you were coming home for Christmas. It saddens me to hear of Nate's passing. He brought many smiles and laughter in high school. So blessed that he was in my life if only for a short time. My prayers for family and friends.

From the first day I met you, you made me smile, you made me laugh. You cared beyond limits for people you knew. You were passionate about life and everything in it and you saw God's creation more vividly that most. You never ceased to amaze me. You prayed for me and encouraged me when my world was falling apart. Nathan, you were a great friend. I thank the Lord that I was blessed to know you. 
To Norma, I know he loved you dearly. Being a mom myself, I know the love you had for him and to the depths this news hits. You were a great mother to him growing up, in high school, and in life. Know I will be forever thankful you had him. 
To his family, to his dear friends, and those closest to him in these past few years, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. If we can measure the love we have for Nathan by the grief we feel in his passing, he was truly loved beyond measure.

Nathan's family in Maine is terribly sad with the loss of Nathan. Star Wars,Saxaphone and a big meal come to mind. He was a really fun guy and loved so much by so many. Our hearts ache and miss him so much.Larry,Gina,Luke and Jamie

I was Nathan's teacher and coach when he was a student at Cannon  Beach Elementary in Oregon.  I have great memories of him as a good student and athlete.  I am so sorry to hear about his untimely death.

Nathan is my cousin . although I didn't know him as an adult ,as a child I had always looked up to him.. he was a great roll model and I have a lot of good memories of him as I was growing up...wish I had known him better .....my heart and prayers go out to all his friends and family who knew him well..
