Born November 22, 1941 in Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Norman Owen Stewart, Sr. and the late Gertrude Helen Reeves Stewart and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ressa Stewart and a step-son, Roger Stratton. Mr. Stewart retired from Virginia Metals Co., after twenty-two years of service and was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three step sons, Don Stratton, Butch Stratton and Skeeter Brooks; one sister, Molly Scaglione of Mesa, AZ and two step-grandchildren, Jamie Evans Goff and husband, Josh and Hunter Evans.
In following with Mr. Stewarts wishes, no services will be held.
