Phyllis White Crawford

Born November 10, 1944 in Princeton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Grover Lee and Lula Mabel Griffith White. She was a former nursing assistant at Guggenheimer Nursing Home and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Crawford is survived by her daughter, Sherry C. Sheets and husband Teddy of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Natalie F. Sheets and Toby E. Sheets and three brothers, Mason White, Sr. and Lacy White, Sr. and wife JoAnn, all of Rustburg and Ray White and wife Glenda of Evergreen.

A funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Keith Vinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and other times at Sherry’s home, 47 Prestwood Road.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Tree of Life Cemetery.
