Ray Edward Snow
August 1, 1981 – November 26, 2017
Ray Edward Snow, 36, of Lynchburg, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017.
Born on August 1, 1981 in Lynchburg, he was the son of John Edward Wooldridge and June Johns Snow Rose and husband Carl. Ray was a mechanic with Pinkerton Chevrolet. Ray was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, enjoyed working on cars, riding motorcycles, and loved his children and family. He will be greatly missed and was loved deeply by his family.
In addition to his parents, Ray is survived by his children, Alexis Snow, Kylee Snow, Blake Snow, Charlotte Whorley, and Grace Snow; granddaughter, Ryan Alexis Jones; siblings, Robert Henry Snow, III, Jeffrey Lee Johns and wife Daisy, Toni Gerholdt, and Summer Gerholdt; and by a special best friend, Art Schlumpf.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel with Pastor Bill Evans officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery in Amherst County.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.

June, so sorry for your loss. I remember Ray very well when he use to hang out with Kenny. May God get you through this time in your life. I know all too well how it feels to loose a child because I lost Kenny. Prayers are with all the family and you will see him again someday.

To the family my condolences to you. I will miss talking with Ray when he would come into Schewels. We would talk about the Dallas Cowboys cause I Recently shared pictures with him when my friend and I went to Dallas in October to see the boys play. Im so sorry for your loss. I will miss Ray from coming into the store. My prayers go out to the family. Everyone at Schewels is devastated of the news. Cause Ray was a nice person.
