Robert Haga Hamilton, Jr., 61, of Lynchburg passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Marilyn Ludwick Hamilton. Born November 30, 1958, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Robert Haga Hamilton, Sr. and the late Christine Oneida Britt Hamilton.
Robert was a machinist for N.B. Handy Company. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three children, Ricky Gammon and his wife Megan of Madison Heights, Shauna Gammon of Lynchburg and Amanda Gammon of South Boston; one sister, Susan Hamilton of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Korinne Gammon, Raven Walker, Christopher Croghan, Sophia Croghan and Wyatt Croghan; and other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date.
