Robert Edward Perdieu, Sr., 81, of Lynchburg, died, Monday, May 27, 2013, at the Lynchburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Louise Perdieu. Born September 13, 1931, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Allen Russell Perdieu and the late Margaret Wright Perdieu.
Robert was a retired printer for Old Dominion Box Company and he served our country in the US Army during the Korean War era.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children, Robert E. Perdieu, Jr. and his wife Paula of Lynchburg and his daughter, Donna Hutcherson and her husband Burt of Gordonsville; and three grandsons, Zachary Perdieu of Denver, CO, Tyler Hutcherson and his wife Grace of New Orleans, LA and Miles Hutcherson of Tuscaloosa, AL.
A graveside service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. David Heerspink officiating.
There will be no scheduled visitation hours at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
