He was the son of Rodney Russell Earl Hunkley, of Rustburg, and Candace Dawn Kullman, of Lynchburg.
Survivors also include maternal grandparents, Shannon R. Mack and husband Frank, of Rustburg, and Steven and Glenda Kullman, of Madison Heights; paternal grandparents, Jennifer H. Hunkley, of Rustburg, and Russell Earl Hunkley and wife Tabitha, of Lynchburg; two aunts, Kristina Harper and Jessica Kullman; and uncle, Steven Kullman II, all of Rustburg; godmother, Heather D. Bragg, of Madison Heights, as well as numerous extended family members.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 21, 2013, at Whitten Monelison Chapel, by Curtis Mays; and on Monday, June 24, 2013, at 2:00 pm at Thomas Rd. Baptist Church, by the Rev. David Heerspink.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the NICU, Children’s Hospital, at UVA.
