

She was born on January 2, 1927 in Halifax County, daughter of the late Daniel J. Crews and the late Annie P. Crews.
Rosa Lee was a very active member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and retired from Davis Paint Manufacturing. Earlier in her career she worked for many years for Gilbert Storage Company. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to the beach. Her real passion was her dedication to her church and to her family.
Survivors include 5 children, John B. Viar, Jr. and wife Cathy, Daniel L. Viar and wife Venus, Ronald J. Viar and wife Cheryl, Karen V. Cooper and husband Chris and Sandra Anne Viar. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and her good friend Gloria Doss, whom she thought of as a sister.
There will be an open time from 9-5 Monday, January 18, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel for friends to pay their respects. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Spring Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Ricky Ewing officiating. The service will be lived streamed through Facebook.
