Russell Burton Mock was born to Russell and Henrietta Mock on August 26, 1927. He was the first baby born in that section of Oradell Manor. He was employed by the Oradell Post Office until 1952 when he was appointed to the Police Department of Westwood, NJ. He retired from the police department in 1982.
Mr. Mock was a member of PBA Local 206 and a former member of PBA Local 102 where he served as President. He was also a member of the Mutual Aide of Bergen County. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Westwood, NJ.
Mr. Mock is survived by a son, William R. Mock of North Port, FL, and a daughter, Wendy R. Mock of Westwood, NJ. He has two grandchildren, Christian and Ashley Mock of Florida. He was preceded in death by a son, Warren R. Mock.
A memorial service will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016m at Zion Lutheran Church, 155 2nd Avenue, Westwood, NJ, 07675.
