I went to high school with Sandy and she was in my Home Ec. class. She showed me how to put in a zipper for a dress I was working on. We also went shopping one Saturday back when the Plaza was in its heyday. I lost track of her over the years and always wondered where life took her. I wish I would have kept in contact. She was always positive and funny. I know she will be sadly missed

I am so sorry to read this! Sandra and I worked together back in the mid 70’s. She actually helped me get my first public job. From there we worked at the Weenie Stand. For graduation we took at trip to Virginia Beach. We had a blast. My memories of Sandra are very good ones. We always had fun hanging out together. As things changed for us both in life we lost track of each other. She was always smiling!
Thoughts and prayers for her family and friends! She was a great person inside and out.
Rest In Peace Sandra!

So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing I was just thinking of her the other day. I worked with Sandy at The Weenie Stand on Timberlake Rd in Lynchburg back in 1978! She was such a wonderful person and co-worker. My favorite memory was of her walking out onto Timberlake Rd literally stopping traffic so my mama could cross the road to go back to work at Strother Drug Co. Prayers for comfort to her family at this time of sorrow

I was unbelievably shocked and saddened to hear that our sweet Sandy had passed away. She and I were neighbors in Manassas when we lived on Clover Ct. before she moved to her big house. She was always bringing over some yummy goodies she had just made. She made my wedding cake in 2010 and many of my friends children's wedding cakes. We ordered a cake a month from her at my last place of employment and always got a "Sandy cake" for birthdays at the bowling alley. Everybody looked forward to those cakes the most. You will be sorely missed my dear and know that God has gained a wonderful angel.

Sandy was a wonderful friend to my grandparents and we consider her family. She was so kind to everyone, and she would bring over cookies and presents for us kids around the holidays. We will miss Sandy so much

I am truly sad to hear that Sandy is no longer with us. She made my Hawaiian-themed cupcakes and bride-and-groom cake for my wedding September 2018. I met her through our well-loved friend Betty. My heart is sad for Betty and for Sandy’s family and friends. I send my thoughts and prayers.
