Sandra Williams Duff

Born in Campbell County, February 25, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Lee Williams and Flossie Morrison Williams. Sandra was retired Director of Finance from the Lynchburg Housing Authority and was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, H. Wayne Duff, Jr. of Lynchburg; her daughter Kimberley Duff English and her husband Chad of Forest; three sisters, Janice Childress and Diane Tsamisis both of Lynchburg and Barbara Leonard of Rustburg; one brother, Norris Williams of Evington; five grandchildren, Ella, Bailey, Logan, Landon and Lane and a number of nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating Sandra’s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Thomas Road Baptist Church, Pate Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.

The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the efforts and services provided by all of the public safety professionals who responded and the doctors and nurses at Lynchburg General Hospital.
