

Born October 2, 1948 Sharon was a unique individual, and her distinctive qualities made her stand out. She had an exceptional bond with animals and a genuine love for reading that was widely known. When it came to the kitchen, she was celebrated for her mouthwatering baked beans and her one-of-a-kind sausage balls. But what truly set Sharon apart was her unwavering passion for traveling the world. She was a dedicated traveler, and her preferred mode of exploration was cruising around the globe. Whether it was the thrill of visiting new destinations, the adventure of being out at sea, or the joy of meeting people from various cultures, Sharon's love for traveling on cruises was the shining star in her life. It wasn't just a hobby; it was a part of who she was, leaving a deep and lasting impression on all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Sharon’s memory include her brother Randy M. Wood and his wife Janice; her niece Kirstin Schirmer; her nephew Trevor Wood and his wife Shannon; Her great niece and nephews Wyatt Schirmer, Bennett Wood, and Kailey Wood.
A celebration of life service for Sharon will be held on Thursday October 26, 2023 at 11:30am at Whitten Timberlake Chapel officiated by Reverend Randy Bower. A reception will be held after the service. A graveside service will follow the reception at Fort Hill Memorial Park at 2:00pm.
