Shirley Parker Apperson

Shirley Parker Apperson, 81, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter G. Apperson. Born in Lynchburg, June 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Parker and Kassie Thurman Parker. Shirley was a member of Fort Hill United Methodist Church. One of her favorite things to do was spending time in her flower garden. She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her son, Steve Apperson; sister-in-law, Andy Gomo and her husband Mike and a number of nieces and nephews.
