Donna, Teresa and Family - Many sweet and kind memories of your dear mother are in my heart. From the baby shower at Fairview for my Jenni, holiday meals with your grandparents, time at the lake and so much laughter. She welcomed me with open arms and never heard an unkind word from her lips. She was such a shining example of God's Love and a true Christian Lady. In the days to come may you feel her love surrounding you. Love to all...Betty

Shirley was the Ham Biscuit Lady for my catering business for many years. She was recommended by a friend, Dianne, who knew her from Fairview Christain. I followed Shirley and Mr. Buddy from Campbell Ave. to Fairview Church Farm leaving Ham and picking up biscuits, with intermediary stops in Concord @ Teresa's. We worked together for many years. In later years, I would see Shirley and Buddy leaving Granny B's in Appomattox after a "early" supper and would stop on Main to pass a few words. Fun days and many memories of some very special folks!

To the family!
I am so sorry for your loss but we have comfort in knowing that today Shirley is in her heavenly home with Buddy. I'm so thankful for the memories with her and Buddy. I will always remember youth groups, girl scouts, and especially day camp. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!

Shirley was my precious sister...we have had so many laughs together and done so many things together...we have made many crafts and done some musical shows at her church together...so many memories..I will miss talking to her on the phone as we would try to do each Sunday night...don't think we missed too many...I spent lots of weekends with her and Buddy...and one thing we always said to each other when I would leave to come back to my home or say bye on the phone is I love you...I told her that too the day God took her home...so now Shirley I will say bye and I love you for now...but one day I will see you again and can say hi and never bye but can say I LOVE YOU....Jewell

To the family of Shirley Tucker,
So very sorry for your loss. Shirley was such an amazing woman. I learned so much from her growing up in Fairview, being a girl scout, camping
trips, days spent at the Church Farm. Truly, my childhood memories of her all are about fun and serving God. She was such a Godly example of servanthood to all of us. She will be truly missed. Thanks so much to Teresa, Donna and Danny for sharing your mom and your dad with all of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Heaven has gained an angel. Teresa and Allen Gillette

I have known Shirley Tucker since I was little. She lived down the street from me. Going to Day Camp was a right of passage that was passed down to my own kids. She will be greatly missed, but I know that she is singing with the Lord. Sending love to all the family.
