Born June 5, 1932 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Alice McCormick Campbell. Mr. McCormick was the retired owner & operator of Jim’s Barber Shop in Farmville and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include two sisters, Helen Sprinkle and husband Ed and Phyllis Christian, both of Lynchburg.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens in Richmond.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2014 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
