Stella Mae Cox Hall

She was born on August 7, 1924 in Campbell County, daughter of the late Jesse and Lillie Mae Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, George E. Logwood and Lloyd J. Hall; a daughter, Caroline H. Riley; a granddaughter, Monice R. Wright and a daughter in law, Emily T. Logwood.

Stella was a member of First Baptist Church of Evington. She enjoyed quilting, working in the garden and taking care of her flowers. Her greatest love though was her family and church.

Survivors include, 4 sons, Gaither E. Logwood, Danny R. Logwood and wife Katherine, Jerry J. Logwood and wife Lillian, Phillip J. Hall and wife Tracy; 2 daughters, Linda H. Harvey, Robin H. Stratton and husband Don; eleven grandchildren, Greg, Ricky, and Michelle Logwood, Wendy Blankenship, James Riley, Robert, David, and Matthew Harvey, Jessica Dix, Rebecca Riley & Joshua Stratton. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Evington with Pastor David Place officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and other times at the home of her son, Phil Hall.
