Stephen Woodell Elliott

Stephen Woodell Elliott, age 61 of Lynchburg passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born on September 16, 1957 in Lynchburg, son of the late Woody and Phyllis Elliott. Steve was a long time employee of Sentry Equipment Erectors, Inc. He loved all sports but was a major fan of the Dallas Cowboys and all the University of Virginia teams. He also loved working crossword puzzles and reading, but his two favorite passions were his grandkids and fishing. He is survived by 3 children, Natasha Karnes and husband Jr Bryant, Stephen John Elliott, Brittany Craighead and husband William; 2 sisters, Susan Elliott Lees and husband John, Sarah Beth Elliott; 3 grandchildren, Isabella, Charlotte and Gunner as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
