Stephen Eugene Robbins III

Stephen “Bubba” Eugene Robbins, III, 24, of Lynchburg, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was the husband of Jessica Laughlin Robbins. Born August 23, 1992 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Stephen E. Robbins, Jr. of Lynchburg and the late Tina Rogers Robbins. Stephen was an employee of All Phase Roofing and was an avid musician and songwriter. He attended Christian Fellowship Chapel. In addition to his mother, Bubba was preceded in death by a grandfather, Ronnie Rogers, Sr. In addition to his wife and father, Bubba is survived by his children, Adrienne Robbins of Lynchburg and Aiden Robbins of Altavista; his step-mother, Karen Robbins of Lynchburg; two sisters, Amanda Rogers of Lynchburg and Amy Breanna Louise Robbins of Barstow, CA; his grandparents, Steve and Martha Robbins of Lynchburg and Bruce and Gracie Carwile of Forest; uncle, Ronnie “Poot” Rogers, Jr.; two aunts, Stephanie Robbins and Angela Bryant; nephew, Andrew Fitzgerald; cousins, Robbie and Linda Kirby, Austin Winberg, Trae Bryant, Ronnie W. Rogers, III, and Samuel Rogers; a special great aunt and uncle, Evelyn “Hootnanny” and Phillip Hamilton and a host of other aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with the Rev. Stuart Mitchell and Doug Roakes officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel and other times at the home of Steve and Martha Robbins.
