Susie Garnett Williams

Born in Orange Co., VA, she is the daughter of the late Charles William Garnett and the late Pattie Viar Garnett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles W. Garnett, Jr., E. Kyle Garnett and Lewis Garnett.

Susie was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Paktron Corp.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Peyton L. “Teeny” Williams, Jr. (Sherry), Michael W. Williams (Jackie) and Rodney L. Williams ( Amy); six grandchildren, Matthew R. Williams, Megan Williams, Michael W. Williams, Jr., Jessica W. Hoffman (Luke), Dakota “Cody” Williams and Kathryn Williams and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Carlton A. Duck officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Peyton "Teeny" Williams, Jr., 1121 Long Meadows Dr., Lynchburg, VA and after the service.
