

Born June 10, 1956 in Lynchburg, Terry was the son of the late Robert Raymond Brooks and Mary “Louise” Campbell Brooks and was also preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Brooks; one sister, Janet B. Carmichael and a step-mother, Mary Brooks. He was a retired self-employed paint contractor and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Terry is survived by a son, Terry Raymond Brooks of Madison Heights; four sisters, Wanda B. Paris (Robert) of Lynchburg, Sindy B. Weymouth (Joe) of Marietta, GA, Kathy B. Goff (Freddie) of Stonewall, and Susie B. Horsley (Fred) of Vinton.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at Mt. Olivet U.M. Church Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Blake officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel and other times at the home of Wanda and Robert.
