I remember how Tom was so quick with a smile for us. I am saddened by the news of his passing. Tom and Marianne were a kind and loving couple. My heart goes out to my childhood friends, Lisa and Amy, and members of Tom's family.

My Uncle Tommy was a wonderful man, He treated me like another daughter and helped to create many happy childhood memories. He was always so silly and happy. I will miss him.

We have many fond remembrances of our time together at Va Tech. Over the years we were able to share many college-days stories with Tom and he was always able to remind us of things we had forgotten. There was never a dull moment when Tom was around!
Our thoughts are with the McDowell family.

Lisa and Amy - We both remember fondly your parents as BOMM boosters. They worked so hard with us at Peaks View Park, on "the corner", and other fund raisers. They were hard workers and fun to be around. We miss them and the 90's at HHS. We extend our deepest sympathy to both of you and your families.
