Tina Mitchell Tyree

Tina was born in Lynchburg, April 30, 1963. She was a graduate of Lynchburg College and was a teacher her entire career. She retired from the Virginia Department of Education with over 29 years of service. She was a member of Forest Road United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Peggy Padgett Coleman of Lynchburg; her father, Charles Edward Mitchell of Lynchburg; one brother, David Wayne Mitchell of Orlando, FL and two uncles, Howard Lee Padgett of Daytona Beach, FL and P.H. Mitchell of Lynchburg.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Mr. Christopher Colville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
