Tyler Edward Duke, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 34. He was born on September 6, 1989, in Lynchburg, Virginia, to his parents James Donald Duke III and Kristi Brumley Duke.
Tyler's vibrant spirit and passion for life were evident in everything he did. He cherished the simple joys of riding horses, cooking delicious meals, entertaining friends, embarking on jeep rides through the mountains on family land in Carroll County, Virginia, and performing with pride in the color guard in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, James Donald Duke III. Tyler is survived by his loving mother, Kristi Duke; his devoted sister, Ashley Massie; his niece, Willow Ware; and his nephew, Stone Ware.
A celebration of Tyler's life will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 1 pm at Whitten Timberlake Chapel located on Timberlake Road in Lynchburg, Virginia. Following the service, burial will take place at Fort Hill Memorial Park on Fort Ave. in Lynchburg, Virginia.
